Tidy Up Together Review

A launch-week verdict for Malum Games' Adventurer-shop organizer, not the mall games with similar names.

Review Hub

Tidy Up Together released on Steam on 14 August 2026 for Windows. Malum Games, a small UK studio, priced it at $5.99 with a short introductory discount. It is a first-person cozy organizer about restoring a fantasy Adventurer shop after a wizard tornado. You can play solo. You can invite friends online. There is no game over. There is a completion time. There are three shops, twelve achievements, outfits, and a cat.

This hub is the buying-advice corner. The demo guide tells you what the free shop includes. System requirements tells you whether a 2 GB GPU is a real invitation or a paper minimum. Launch week logs the two official Steam posts, the 9,514 Leviathan figure, and the first Positive sample. Similar games is the disambiguation card for malls, bundles, and Shelves and Sorcery. The rest of this page is the verdict.

The short verdict

Buy it if you want a cheap, cartoony, friend-friendly tidy game and you can live without locked unique slots. Skip it, or at least play the demo, if you want a strict planogram, a huge named skill tree, or a solo endgame that does not feel like a job.

Launch Steam reviews sat in Positive territory on a small sample: most buyers liked the vibe, the music, the three shop sizes, and the fact that someone finally put online co-op on this genre. The two loud complaints were “too easy / no wrong shelf” and “upgrades and mid-shop pace are slow.” Both complaints match the design we describe in how to play.

A Japanese review compared it unfavorably to Shelves and Sorcery: Tidy Up the Enchanted Shop on price, achievement count, skill count, and modes, then still said the game is playable on its own terms. That is a fair frame. This is not the most stuffed tidy game in a crowded August. It is the one that wants you to invite people.

Who it is for

For you if you liked the idea of Unpacking or a library tidy game but want a first-person shop and a friend on voice chat. For you if $6 is a snack and the Wyrmling Shop is enough content. For you if “no AI was used” on the store page matters. For you if you want a cat achievement and medieval shop music.

Not for you if you need PvP, sandbox toggles, or auto-place from other tidy titles. Not for you if you need a language other than English in the client. Not for you if your PC is below the recommended specs and the demo already chugs. Not for you if you thought this was a Roblox experience.

Name collisions you must not buy by mistake

August 2026 produced several Steam games that reuse “Tidy Up Together”:

  • This wiki: Tidy Up Together, Malum Games, app 4950470, fantasy Adventurer shop.
  • Mall: Tidy Up Together, a different studio, mall stores and PvP.
  • Megastore: Tidy Up Together, a different studio, five stores and a huge SKU count.
  • TV Archive: Tidy Up Together, videotapes.

If a screenshot looks like a supermarket or a tape archive, you are on the wrong page. If a skill list includes Auto-Placement as a named store feature, you are on the wrong page.

Official places, not this wiki

Steam store and demo pages, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing, and the 12 achievements are official. Support email on the store page is [email protected]. The July press kit listed Discord https://discord.gg/VwPPdWetMC and Bluesky @apostleofmalum.bsky.social. This site is unofficial. We do not sell the game. We do not take refunds. We do not patch your NAT.

If you already own it, leave this hub and go to Getting Started. If you are still unsure, play the demo, then read the shop pages, then decide whether Leviathan sounds like a party or a threat.
